I want to read the eBook I ordered on my mobile device; what should I do?

 

This book was not found on your account.

  • Start the Mobipocket Desktop Reader
  • In the menu bar, click on "help” -> “check for mobi reader update", this will update the information about ebookstore (including thebookgap.com).
  • Click on “View” > “Sources” > “My Reading Devices”, where you can see your registered devices and edit, delete or add a device.
  • Make sure your mobile device is listed here with its correct PID.
  • If your device is listed, just go back to “My Library”, right click on the book title then on “send” and select you device; the eBook will be sent to your device the next time you synchronize.
  • If your device is not listed on “My Reading Devices” you need to go to http://www.mobipocket.com/ > click on “My Bookshelf” > login using your username and password > click on “My device list” under “Update My Profile” > edit the PID, delete or add the required device and log out.
  • Update your Mobipocket Desktop Reader and follow the procedure described above to send your eBook to the intended mobile device.
  • If you are still having problems with your PID after following the steps above, please contact Mobipocket support at nting@mobipocket.com
